    Boss BD-2 Blues Drive Mod. So when I finally got around to actually buy a Boss Blues Driver it was only a matter of deciding what I was going to do to it. I went with Moute again. I chose the H20 mod because it seems to offer what I would like in my little blue box. My regular BD-2 Mod has a slight mid boost and a little less gain than. The Keeley BD-2 was the first mod that had a switch. It was done to give players two modes of bass response, with the slight boost it was called the Phat mode. Perfect for players of Strats and Teles that wanted just a small push without being muddy. That same design is also available via the micro toggle on the Super Phat.

    As the title suggests i'm looking to modify my BD-2 to get the most i can out of it and am wondering is it a big job or can someone who's handy enough with a soldering iron perform it? Also i do'nt intend on buying another overdrive pedal but would like some advice on settings from anybody who has used a BD-2, i'm finding it good using it as a boost for soloing, i keep the pedals gain way down and have the level at about 5 o clock and tone at about 1, i'm still experimenting with the settings but it really does compliment my Blackstar HT Club 40's dirty channel well, any info. on settings that worked and on how this 'Keeley' mod. may effect/improve tone would be appreciated, thanks
